About the Role
ProductSquads Technolabs LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Data Analyst with a strong finance background. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with financial data, Excel, AI tools, and data visualization while ensuring data accuracy and delivering meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze business and financial data.
Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel and data visualization tools.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Analyze financial statements and generate actionable insights.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
Utilize AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and support analysis.
Create and maintain documentation for reports and analytical processes.
Support finance and operations teams with data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, Charts, Basic Formulas).
Good understanding of Data Validation and data quality practices.
Knowledge of Data Visualization concepts (Power BI/Tableau is an advantage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with AI tools and their practical business applications.
Basic understanding of SQL is preferred.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Finance Knowledge (Mandatory)
Candidates should have a solid understanding of:
Balance Sheet
Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement
Cash Flow Statement
Financial Ratios
Budgeting & Forecasting
Revenue, Expenses, Profitability, and other financial concepts
Eligibility
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, MIS, or a similar role.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Exposure to ERP/Accounting software is a plus.
Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
